Ladonna Eisenbaum has been a special education teacher, a mother, and a counselor.  For the last decade, she has volunteered with people who have dementia and their families.  Wanting to give a voice to people with disabilities, she dove into writing.  At first she focused on screenwriting, later switching to writing books for children.  Writing Jill's story was an opportunity for Ladonna's training and life experiences to converge with the beautiful soul that is Jill Egle.  The author is proud to have had a role in Jill's Journey.
